Challenge — Purely Products is a leader in bringing to market innovative, eco-friendly, healthy living products that reduce the country’s carbon footprint. Purely is a young company with product success in various consumer categories, but until recently, little brand awareness. Messaging was inconsistent and product-based.
Solution — In 2008 Bluegill began working with Purely’s marketing team on a full-scale rebranding of the company and its product lines. The efforts included internal core ideology, B2B marketing strategies, product packaging, and consumer messaging. We designed the recently launched consumer-driven e-commerce website, highlighting over 200 SKUs in several product categories through celebrity endorsements, non-profit connections, and social media integration. Overall efforts and collaboration between Purely and Bluegill has helped to get Purely products into over 5,000 retail locations nationwide and in Europe, including Lowes, PetCo, Bed Bath & Beyond, and others. Projected growth in 2011 is over 300%.
